What Clients Can Expect

  • Clear, straightforward advice
  • Planning to protect what you’ve built
  • Disciplined approach to managing investments
  • Careful review of corporate and personal tax structures

Over the years, Colin has seen that long-term success comes from patience, structure, and disciplined decision-making.

Working closely with farm families and business owners has shaped his perspective. He approaches planning with practicality. He explains what matters, what doesn’t, and where the real risks are.

With a deep understanding of corporate structures and tax strategy, Colin often serves as the internal checkpoint on complex cases. He focuses on efficiency, what clients keep after tax, how income is structured, and whether the long-term plan truly works under pressure.

Clients appreciate that conversations are straightforward, grounded, and focused on what actually matters.

Colin grew up on a family farm in St. Jean Baptiste, Manitoba, and continues to value the work ethic and perspective that upbringing instilled.

Outside of work, he enjoys travelling to new places with his wife, Michelle, and their two daughters. Weekends are often filled with gymnastics, hockey, and soccer, keeping him actively involved in his daughters’ activities.

Colin keeps active himself by running half marathons and playing squash competitively. If there is one thing he cannot turn down, it is a good board game.
